Visit with your own calendar in mind
Ask about services and access during the months you intend to stay. Check the particular community and address, not just the wider destination. Where possible, visit outside the time of your first holiday impression.
Check practical journeys
Work out how you would reach shopping, appointments and your arrival or departure point. Ask what facilities are available within the community and whether their use carries conditions or separate charges. A marketing list does not establish what is available to a particular owner.
Inspect the apartment and shared areas
Review layout, privacy, access and maintenance arrangements. Distinguish existing conditions from future plans and illustrations. Ask about the care of the home while empty and how approved repairs would be organised during your absence.
Collect property-specific documents
Request the exact unit reference, specification, price and payment schedule. Establish the seller’s authority and have the legal status and proposed ownership arrangement reviewed independently for your circumstances. Do not assume that rules or processes described for another region apply to the chosen property.
